Yeah, I've soured on Mastodon even if switching instances seems to be better, but just not the same experience.
I am mainly thinking we need a place to pool information without fear of moderation/pushback/amplifying bad guys. I personally rely on Twitter for a lot of that OSINT stuff that would be difficult to replicate elsewhere.
I am not totally over Mastodon yet. We shall see.
