Hello all. As promised, I have an update on the status of this newsletter.
I’ve reviewed a number of alternatives, and since I do not plan to start charging for subscriptions any time soon, and I do not want to go out of pocket on this project, my options are limited. Nevertheless, I’ve managed to create two alternatives.
As previously noted, you can subscribe to my ramblings on LinkedIn. This is the best option for anyone who (like me) prefers to read newsletters in an app rather than by getting email. If you are already subscribing on LinkedIn, I recommend you unsubscribe here, or else you’ll also start getting emails next week. If that happens, you can unsubscribe at any time.
If you prefer email, my employer, the Center on Terrorism, Extremism, and Counterterrorism, has graciously agreed to provide the infrastructure for sending the newsletter out as an email. If you are still subscribed here by the middle of next week, you should automatically be signed up to receive the CTEC email. If you don’t see it next Friday and have not received an update from me here otherwise, check your spam folder.
IMPORTANT: As part of this change, I am going back to the future and rebranding the newsletter as INTELWIRE, or The INTELWIRE Brief. The World Gone Wrong name was derived from my dystopia research, and while I have some material left on that topic, the content going forward will be much more extremism-focused.
I look forward to seeing you next week. In the meantime, be sure to check out my latest publication, The Last Twitter Census, for VOX-Pol.
